Bandai's prop and replica brand "Proplica" provides a lot of full scale recreations of famous weapons from anime, and their latest release appears to be a timely celebration for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans as its hit film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, is now officially the highest grossing film of all time in Japan.
Fans of the popular anime can now treat themselves to a full scale replica of Kyojuro Rengoku's red Nichirin blade, which plays music from the anime as well as quotes from the Flame Hashira himself.
The full scale blade, which measures 950 mm in total length, was made under special supervision to faithfully reproduce Rengoku's fiery sword. The sword can play the film's theme song of "Homura" by LiSA, but an also switch between "Demon Slayer" mode, which plays quotes Rengoku says in the film, and "Delicious" mode, which simply plays Rengoku voicing his approval for his delicious bento.
As you can see, the replica looks as if it's been lifted straight out of the world of Demon Slayer, which details from the hilt to the blade's kanji engraving finely reproduced.
The replica blade is currently available for reservation order from Premium Bandai for 11,000 yen. Overseas users can look to their international store.
