In October 2020, the French brand Perrier and the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami launched limited-edition glass-bottles featuring the contemporary artist's artwork. 

Since long ago, Perrier has been collaborating with many artists such as Salvador Dali, Carlu, Andy Warhol, and many others, and, this time, they joined forces with Murakami to create a colorful and cute design for the sparkling water brand.

Murakami is well-known for his pop designs, and his characters, Kaikai and Kiki, together with the Smiling Flowers, his signature artwork, are featured on the bottles.

To commemorate the release of the Perrier x Murakami limited edition bottle design, Koe Lobby, part of the Hotel Koe Tokyo, came up with another collaboration with Perrier.

Until February 14th, they will offer a collaboration drink with the French brand on the 1st floor Koe Lobby of the Hotel.

Besides food, people who are interested in art, culture, fashion or music, will discover that the place has everything to keep them entertained during the time spent there.

On the 1st floor, you will be surprised to discover a beautifully decorated interior that has as theme Takashi Murakami’s smiling flowers and his beloved characters, Kaikai and Kiki.

The drinks made in collaboration with Perrier are four in number: three soft drinks and one beverage that includes alcohol.

Here is more information about each of them:

1. Perrier Lime Mojito

Perrier Lime Mojito is a drink that combines lime and mint, not too sweet, and with a pleasing fragrance. You can buy a soft drink for 750 yen.

 

2. Perrier Lemon Ginger

The Perrier Lemon Ginger also costs 750 yen, and it is a mix of homemade lemonade syrup and ginger syrup, with a finishing touch of fresh lemon.

It is very refreshing and has a nice fragrance, too.

 

3. Perrier Cassis Orange 

The last one of the soft drinks is Perrier Cassis Orange. 

Same as the above, the price is 750 yen, and it has a cocktail appearance making it look very fancy.

 

The ingredients are orange and cassis syrup, and before drinking it, you should crush the orange.

 

4. Perrier Rouge Sangria

The last one of the drinks is the alcoholic beverage, Perrier Rouge Sangria.

It is a mix of red wine, maple, and melon syrup; it tastes refreshing, delicious, and its appearance also looks so elegant.

You can buy it for 900 yen.

 

The gorgeous design of the beverages also had as inspiration the smiling flower.

The drinks include slices of lime, lemon, and oranges, with flowers and petals on the top of the drinks to remind us of Murakami's signature.

The overall look is so adorable, yet elegant, and the taste doesn’t lose to the appearance either.

Furthermore, if you buy any of the drinks, you have a chance of winning a lottery of Perrier x Murakami limited edition goods.

The prizes include items such as Deco Perrier Bottle (330ml), bags with the collaboration logo, stickers, etc.

You can enjoy the beverages until the 14th of February from 7:30 to 20:00 (alcohol is served until 19:00) on the first floor koe lobby of the hotel koe tokyo.
