Here at grape Japan, we have introduced many adorable-looking sweets featuring characters from Japanese anime and games, mostly in official cafes but sometimes in stand-alone products which you can buy in convenience stores.
And then there are talented bakers like Chantel Tran Vo, who simply create their own!
The Vancouver-based baking artist who runs a home business called "My Love At First Bite," is often inspired by the cute and adorable characters from classic Japanese anime like Studio Ghibli films and Sailor Moon, mascot characters like Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars and Gudetama, as well as games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing.
