Even though they're both garden eels, the two have quite different appearances.
If you like sea creatures, we think you'll appreciate these two mugs that show off their charms.

This eel has a vivid and colorful banded pattern, different from the dot pattern on the eel you saw earlier.
The shape of its body is similar, but the pattern is completely different. So then, which one is which?
Let's use these mugs to reveal the correct answer.
The one with the black dots on a white background is...

...the Hass' Garden Eel (Heteroconger hassi)!
But you'd probably know that if you were familiar with its other, more commonly used name, the Spotted Garden Eel.
Its polka dot pattern goes well with the emerald-green ocean color of the mug.
So then, that means that the eel with the banded pattern on it is...

...the Splendid Garden Eel (Gorgasia preclara)!
But you'd probably know that if you were familiar with its other name, the Orange-Barred Garden Eel.
Hopefully, that should settle the difference between the two.
In any case, both of them are just as cute when you see them in the aquarium peeping out from the sand.
And these mug cups have captured them for your enjoyment. As its most attractive and eye-catching feature, you'll immediately notice the eels bending into the right shape to form the mugs' handles.
You can buy one, but they're so cute, you might even be tempted to buy the pair!

What's more, the illustration of the two smiling garden eels on the mug itself are sure to bring a smile to your face.
