Eggstraordinarily popular L.A. breakfast sandwich restaurant Eggslut are spicing up their Japan menu with a mouth-watering limited edition Teriyaki scrambled egg burger. The new sandwich, dubbed the “Egg Teri,” is available from March 1st until April 30th in 2021.

The “Egg Teri” combines Eggslut’s signature creamy scrambled egg with a 100% beef patty that is slathered in the restaurant’s custom made Teriyaki sauce, sandwiches together between two buttery brioche buns.

The special Teriyaki sauce is enriched with a ginger syrup containing Okinawan brown sugar and fermented butter, and contains several spices so it is not overly sweet.

The combination of Eggslut’s already morish fluffy scrambled egg with peppery teriyaki sauce adds a distinctively Japanese flavor to the L.A. style breakfast sandwiches that will make it hard for customers to stop at just one.

Eggslut’s Miyashita Park restaurant will begin serving a special lunch set menu at the same time as the Egg Teri goes on sale.

The lunch set contains a lighter version of their classic Fairfax scrambled egg sandwich or egg salad sandwich, in addition to bacon, avocado and lettuce salad, and a soft drink.

The set is designed to give customers the total Eggslut experience. The slightly smaller sandwiches are easier to hold and eat compared to the regular ones which are famously bursting with filling, often requiring the aid of a knife and fork to finish. The salad also combines Eggslut’s most popular sandwich toppings, bacon and avocado, for a rich but healthy side option.
