You may be one of the lucky ones to have a cornucopia of tasty traditional osechi ryori dishes at your home in Japan (or another bounty of equally tasty dishes) to tide you through the year's end and the New Year's holidays. But if you've been living rather meagerly (or simply haven't found a good reason to indulge), and are looking for a big hearty meal to start off the year, we may have just the thing you're looking for!
Feast your hungry eyes on this behemoth of a burger, being offered exclusively by the Japanese branches of the trendy LA-born egg specialist eatery Eggslut.

The BIG SLUT BURGER, which deserves every one of those uppercase letters in its name, is not meant to be handled lightly. No, this is the burger for those of you who are ready to face the Year of the Ox 2021, grab it by the horns, and say: "bring it on!"
From top to bottom, we're talking melted cheddar cheese, gooey cage-free over medium egg, fresh arugula, fluffy scrambled eggs, hardwood smoked bacon, plump jumbo shrimp, smoky seared steak, a chicken patty AND a beef patty, all resting on a bed of sliced avocado, and sandwiched in a brioche bun.
Got that? Now scroll down and take a closer look.

Did we say it was called the BIG SLUT BURGER?
All ten toppings available at Eggslut are included, for a gourmet burger extravaganza probably unlike any you've ever had, let alone in Japan. And if you come in between January 2nd and 5th, you'll even be able to enjoy it at a reduced price.
Pricing
Toppings only 100 JPY in January
Of course, not everyone has the appetite (or the wish) to have such a copious meal, so there are many of other more reasonably sized sandwiches and burgers to try at eggslut too. And if you come in the month of January, all toppings, some of which are normally priced at 300 JPY, will be available for only 100 JPY (some sandwiches excluded)
