To the delight of Kirby super fans in Japan, the round and pink hero now has two official Kirby Cafes, which permanently grace Tokyo and Hakata. The menu consists of a range of cool dishes, incorporating many characters and motifs from the video game. We even get treated to seasonal dishes from time to time, and starting from this month the cafe’s going all in for spring.

The super cute sushi set was already teased earlier in the season, and since it can be ordered for take out, it seems like the perfect accompaniment for a Hanami picnic.

Each one comes with an awesome souvenir lunch box and you can even choose from four designs.

Now the sweet option has been revealed and it’s a super cute Kirby playing hide and seek under a sakura leaf just like a pink sakura mochi. The dish is also decorated with colourful Japanese sweets like konpeito and kohakuto. There’s even a tea on the side to make for a sweet springtime tea break.

The cherry blossom themed offering for the drinks menu is a fittingly pink sakura latte. The photogenic beverage is a subtle mix of sweet and salty flavouring.
