If you are a fan, you may already have your very own adorable Sylvanian Family collection at home, but there’s always room for families to grow. If you haven’t started your collection just yet McDonald’s across Japan are about to add a selection of Sylvanian Family themed goods to their Happy Meals – which could be a perfect way to introduce yourself to the anthropomorphic tribe.
The Happy Meal set will be available from McDonald’s stores nationwide for a limited time from 16 april 2021. The lineup includes 8 kinds of stationary and everyday goods featuring motifs and designs inspired by Epoch Toy’s animal figurine collection ‘Sylvanian Families’.
The collection is designed to develop the ‘imagination’ through the stories of the Sylvanian animals, to encourage ‘creativity’ to play with pictures and letters, and to familiarize the tools for daily dressing and ‘lifestyle’ in a fun way.
The goods will be split into two releases; a ‘Stationary set’ which will be available from 16 April to 19 April 2021, and a ‘Omekashi Set’ which will be available from 30 April to 13 May 2021.
The first release includes items that are perfect for spending Golden Week at home, with goods that can be used for drawing pictures, writing letters and for play.
The second release is made up of household items that can be used for everyday dress up.
On top of the two releases, a special secret toy will also be available for grabs from the release of the second collection. Pick up a McDonald’s Happy Meal from 30 April to be within a chance to find out what it is!
