No one will ever accuse Burger King Japan of shying away from excess, as evidenced by their heavy duty Strong Super One Pound Beef Burger, and their latest limited edition release isn't afraid to get ugly. At least, that's what the name tells us! This fall Burger King Japan will be serving up a cheesy and presumably messy Cheese Ugly Beef Burger.
The Cheese Ugly Beef Burger's main feature is its two buns, which have four cheeses layered and baked into them. The buns mix a slightly sour Gouda, mild Egmont, slightly sweet Mozzarella, and rich Cheddar cheese. In between the quatro cheese buns are a 100% beef patty, cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions finished with creamy mayonnaise and ketchup.
The Cheese Ugly Beef Burger will be available at Burger Kings across Japan starting September 11th, priced at 740 yen a la carte or 1,040 yen in a set.
