According to the press release, this new wraparound support program places the utmost importance on listening and responding to the needs of LGBTQ+ and questioning youth, allowing them to take the initiative in becoming who they want to be, do what they want to do, achieve what they want to achieve, and resolve what they want to resolve. They intend to provide comprehensive support, including not only issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity, but also other problems the clients may face.

In addition, if the client wishes, Pride House Tokyo Legacy staff can actively collaborate with people with whom the client has had previous relationships or with whom the client plans to have new relationships.
Whether alone or with others, clients can work out their issues through conversations or reflections with staff members who are not only experienced in providing consultation support to LGBTQ+ children and youth (as well as adults) but also in LGBTQ+ training and instruction.
