Japanese Hotel Chain to Debut Pokemon Themed Rooms in Tokyo and Kyoto This Month
The Promised Neverland has become a massive hit among anime fans worldwide, but with its creepy twists and claustrophobic atmosphere, the idea of a hotel room inspired by the series may be questionable to some.
Nevertheless, Hotel Keitan, a Japanese chain hotel, announced last month that they would be running some accommodation themed around The Promised Neverland. Luckily, it is not inspired by the interior of Grace Field House specifically, but includes generally cool additions to the room that any fan of the anime can enjoy, and still sleep well at night.
The rooms are also divided into two themes, based on season one and season two of the anime series, so fans can pick their favourite to stay in.
When you first enter the room, you may get a shock from the life-size cutouts looming next to the bed, but fans will surely appreciate their presence while enjoying the annotated character drawings on the walls. The beds also have cushions and covers inspired by the series.
Guests will also get a goody-bag filled with items such as a tote bag, slippers, a tumbler and keyring.
It doesn’t just stop at the rooms, as the characters have taken over the lobby too, where you can also load up on the original merchandise that's on sale.
Six hotels are taking part, located in Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo (Ginza), Nagoya, Kyoto and Kyobashi (Osaka) and the event is running until 30th September 2021.
