Tokyo's Hotel New Otani is collaborating with Makoto Shinkai’s hit animated film The Garden of Words, creating a special one day stay inspired by the movie for a limited time from June 24th to July 21st, 2021.

This stay is perfect for Shinkai’s movie fans. Throughout the stay, you will be reminded of the world of The Garden of Words. The room will be decorated with framed panels of the movie scenes and the movie motif interiors, as well as the forest-green color theme, the signature color of the movie.

As a bonus give-away for this special stay plan, “Makoto Shinkai's -The Garden of Words- art collection booklet” will be gifted to each guest staying. The guests will also be welcomed with complimentary beer and chocolate; also from one of the movie scenes.

To make the stay extra special, you can also add a special movie themed dinner and cocktail combo to your package. The menu consists of what appeared in the movie, too; omelet rice using mild yet rich flavored butter, and also a special cocktail drink The Garden of Words which shines in light green color, prepared by an executive chief bartender of the hotel. Hotel New Otani also presents its proud 40,000 square meter Japanese garden. It is an absolutely stunning space that allows you to feel a moment of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel also prepares an umbrella for you to use during the stay, which is another signature item from the movie.
