The stunning outfits worn by Sakura Kinomoto in the anime adaptation of the popular magical girl series, Cardcaptor Sakura, have been transformed into a lineup of capsule toys in Japan.
The toys come in four designs and feature Sakura’s opening costumes from the original anime in 1998, and the Clear Card sequel that premiered 20 years later.
Cardcaptor Sakura is the first series in Bandai’s new lineup of toys called “Capsule Torso”, which recreates costumes worn by popular characters. One capsule toy is priced at 500 yen, and they will be made available at capsule vending machines across Japan.
