Are you putting your dog in danger with the way you hold it?

Mascots are a great way to bring attention to a business or place, and some are stranger than others. But the most surefire way to bag a successful mascot is to focus on cuteness.
Peko-chan, a dog belonging to a staff member at Takase Farm in Fukuoka, has already gone viral several times thanks to adorable pictures of her helping out at the farm. In one popular photo, she was even sleeping on the job, looking extra pretty among the flowers.
This latest photo had people shocked by her expressive face as she gave some potatoes a pretty serious side-eye.
The caption reads ‘we summoned a taro dog in a potato summoning circle’. With Peko-chan’s hilarious surprised expression, she does look confused about the situation, just like a dog that has been suddenly summoned with a magic potato circle.
The photo attracted over 11 thousand retweets and 54 thousand likes. Commenters noted that Peko-chan has perfected the archetypal perplexed face that is often seen in sci-fi films when someone is suddenly transported to another place, others simply stated that they can’t stop laughing at the dog’s expression.
