When children "play pretend", it's likely influenced by what they’ve observed from adults’ behavior.
Many of you may remember the days when you were little, pretended to be store staff and such roles along with your parents.
Japanese Twitter user Hibiko (@hibik1020) is a mother of 4.
One day her youngest daughter was playing pretend by herself. Hibiko couldn’t help but do a double-take when she realized what her daughter was trying to give milk to.
The “thing” the daughter was trying to feed milk to, was a toy tank!
Her little girl is gently holding the toy tank as if to hold a baby, and has a milk bottle tilted to its cannon barrel. While definitely a strange sight to see, many on Twitter were impressed by her caring attitude shown to a weapon of war.
“This made me laugh! Too adorable.”
“Kids are so funny.”
“I wonder if she thought that the tank must get hungry, too? What a kind girl!”
Out of all the other toys she had in her room, like a doll or stuffed animal, she made sure that the tank was fed. Her imagination is so rich and intriguing.
