Aman Kyoto (アマン京都) is a private luxury resort, nestled in a secret forest garden at the foothills of Mount Hidari Daimonji.
Besides the many facilities, it is also surrounded by 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Zen stone garden at Ryōanji Temple (龍安寺 Ryōanji), the Golden Pavilion (金閣寺 Kinkakuji), and Ninna-Ji Temple (仁和寺).
With beautiful panoramic views and surrounded by tranquility, Aman Kyoto also offers its guests the opportunity to discover more of the ancient arts of Japan and its culture.
One of the events taking place this autumn, in October and November, is a live performance by Japanese bamboo flute (篠笛 shinobue) player Satō Kazuya (佐藤和哉).
The event is called 篠笛 at 森の庭 shinobue at mori no niwa, a rough translation of which is "Japanese bamboo flute at the forest garden."
Guests will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, surrounded by the beautiful autumn foliage of yellows, reds, and oranges and the divine sounds of the shinobue.
The event will take place for two days in October: October 16th and October 30th, and one day at the beginning of November: November 6th.
