There really isn't a category capsule toys in Japan shy away from. Whether it be spider cats that hug the rim of your glass or luxury hotel stays, gacha (capsule toy) vending machines seem to offer just about anything these days.
That's why the charming creations of talented Japanese felt artist Atelier Hatena fit right into that world. Atelier Hatena recently shared a collection of knit surreal yet adorable loaves and rolls of bread that "live" and have sprouted legs!

The faceless but legged pieces of bread have a compelling cuteness to them, so much that Japanese capsule toy maker Qualia has collaborated with Atelier Hatena to release them as a series of "Ikiteru Pan" ("Living Bread) capsule toys!
Atelier Hatena's colleciton of living bread miniatures includes White fluffy bread loaf, French Bread, Melon bread, Croissant, and dinner rolls.

Atelier Hatena does run a web shop, although it is periodically (and currently) closed for business. The capsule toys, however, are currently on sale at capsule toy vending machines throughout Japan. Be sure to follow Atelier Hatena on Twitter for even more awesome designs!
