Starbucks Japan’s holiday season kicks off with brand new festive Frappuccino and Christmas mocha

This holiday season, Starbucks Japan have been going all out with their festive seasonal offerings like the ‘Chocolate Strawberry Festive Frappuccino’ and the ‘Toasted White Chocolate Frappuccino’. But post-Christmas, it seems Starbucks are exploring some creative tea possibilities with their Teavana range.
Over the New Year period they will be serving up three tea creations. This includes two hojicha treats, and one oolong tea beverage.
For the ‘Hojicha meets Caramel’ range there’s a Frappucino and tea latte on offer. The ‘Hojicha meets Caramel Cream Frappuccino’ has been made with a mix of hojicha (roasted green tea) and black tea to form a rich tea base. White mocha syrup has been added and the whole thing is topped with a hojicha and caramel sauce.
For the tea latte option, it has the same double tea base as the Frappuccino, and it is laced with hojicha and caramel sauce, white mocha syrup, and a milky cream. The topping is whipped cream and even more of the hojicha-caramel sauce.

Lastly, there’s the appearance of the oolong tea. The theme is ‘Oolong meets Citrus’, and it comes in the form of a tea latte. Oolong tea has been mixed with steamed milk, and topped with citrus peel from satsumas and yuzu.

These wondrous tea creations will grace the Starbucks Japan menu from now until 18th January 2022.
