It's hard to imagine living at home with a bunch of Pokémon that help out in the kitchen in anything but a fantasy, but one look at the expertly crafted works of Japanese wood carving artist Poppo (Twitter, YouTube) might have you thinking differently.
Poppo applies their talent for making intricate wood crafts to recreating Pokémon in fine detail that makes it seem like they've jumped right off the screen and into their home. Not just as awesome sculptures, but with also some use around the kitchen and dinner table!

One of Poppo's latest cool Pokémon wooden crafts takes the Psychic-type Unown and transforms it into some pretty fancy looking wooden spoons and forks used for mixing, cooking, and plating. The utensils, fashioned into a "D" and "S" as Unown can appear in different alphabetical arrangements, are so well made that many have fallen in loved with them on Twitter, saying they look as if they were unearthed from ancient ruins.

Shiny UV resin eyeballs give the Unown spoon and fork a lifelike quality, and you can watch Poppo craft them (and other awesome works) on their YouTube channel as well.
Not all of Poppo's wooden Poké-crafts are limited to the kitchen, however. Poppo has turned Pokémon into adorable traditional Japanese kokeshi dolls, holders for keys and jewelry, and even Valentine's Day sweets boxes, among many other awesome creations! For more awesome wooden Pokémon crafts, be sure to follow Poppo on Twitter and YouTube.
