Japanese origami artist ちゃ Cha (@charmy) makes accessories such as earrings, brooches, and charms with designs ranging from butterflies and roses to traditional Japanese motifs such as cranes, ninja throwing stars, and more.
His creations are made with a variety of paper materials, ranging from pre-made chiyogami to original hand-drawn patterns, glossy paper, and special papers, which are then strengthened with a coating that makes them water-resistant.
Although he creates various designs, as mentioned above, one motif is particularly prevalent in his works: the fox, and in particular the nine-tailed fox.
Since the nine-tailed fox has recently been in the international spotlight after the "Killing Stone" believed to contain the spirit of the nine-tailed fox broke in half, there's been a renewed interest in the legendary creature.
Cha creates foxes, nine-tailed and others, in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles.
