Japanese organic doughnuts company collab with Hello Kitty to create the cutest Christmas treats
Floresta is a doughnuts store that started in Nara prefecture, and became famous for their adorable, handmade treats made with completely organic ingredients. Now they have stores all over Japan, and have stepped up their game when it comes to character-inspired offerings.
Sometimes they collaborate with Sanrio to make sweet creations based on famous characters such as Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll. But for Easter this year, the seasonal doughnut is a Floresta-only design, with cute rabbits to represent the occasion.
Every part of the doughnut is edible, even the bunny that’s cutely sitting in the middle of the ring doughnut.
There’s two designs to choose from, a pink rabbit or a white rabbit, each one with a different decoration on the doughnut to match their colours. They both have Easter written boldly on the front, just to hammer the point home.
As most people in Japan don’t celebrate Easter, it can be hard to find some celebratory treats in Japanese stores and bakeries, so Floresta may be the perfect choice this year if you need some seasonal goodies.
These doughnuts will be on sale from early April until 24th in select branches of Floresta. Check out their website for store locations.
