Overview
On April 4th, 2022, Cover Co., Ltd. announced the major music label debut of Mori Calliope from hololive Productions' hololive English, a Vtuber group geared towards English-speaking countries.
Mori Calliope will make her debut with Universal Music EMI Records, under which she'll release her first EP "SHINIGAMI NOTE." Moreover, she'll have her major debut concert "New Underworld Order".
This is the first time for a virtual entertainer from Hololive English to debut on a major label. Mori Calliope's first EP "SHINIGAMI NOTE" will be released on July 20th, 2022. On the following day, she'll have a solo concert entitled "Mori Calliope Major Debut Concert 'New Underworld Order'" at Toyosu PIT.
Moreover, the music video for "CapSule," a new song by Mori Calliope and Hoshimachi Suisei featured in "SHINIGAMI NOTE" has just been released (see below). Digital distribution for the song has also begun.
Mori Calliope's first EP "SHINIGAMI NOTE" contains 6 new songs including "CapSule" by Mori Calliope x Hoshimachi Suisei. The first limited edition LP version is also available in a larger size (6,600 JPY, tax incl.), with the accompanying DVD including a behind-the-scenes interview with Mori Calliope. Moreover, it also includes a DEAD BEATS crest badge along with jacket art variations by five creators. Full details on the amazing group of artists and creators participating in her first major-label EP will be announced at a later time. The standard version of the CD costs 2,750 JPY.
