Water/Psychic Pokémon Slowpoke (Yadon in Japanese) is certainly a fan favorite. The slow-witted but happy-go-lucky has even taken over a prefecture in Japan with hotel and hot spring rooms and public transportation, so it's no surprise to see Slowpoke reproduced as adorable goods.
Talented actress and latte artist Runa Kato (@RunaPocket) may have found the greatest way to artistically portray Slowpoke, however. The crafty latte artist perfectly recreated the dim Pokémon in one of the best and most fitting latte art creations we've seen--so much that it's jiggly tummy reacts realistically to being pressed with a spoon!
The awesome 3D latte art features Slowpoke relaxing and soaking in a cup of cappuccino, showing off his round belly. When Runa prods at the Pokémon's tummy, it jiggles and even appears to repel the spoon as it might if Slowpoke were actually real!
Runa's foamy Slowpoke latte art has garnered a lot of praise online, with many feeling as if it's like having the actual Pokémon resting in your coffee (and thus too cute to drink!), and of course identifying with its relaxing pose.
This isn't Runa first amazing latte art. In that past she's made some incredible 3D and 2D latte creations using characters from popular anime, manga, and video games. Below are some outstanding samples of her work, including latte art of Pokémon, One Piece, Animal Crossing, Kirby, and even Spongebob Squarepants, just to name a few!
