Cockatoos are known for having some very colorful personalities and thus some pretty fascinating ways of playing around, but CT9A Kakimoto Kai (@CT9AKAKIMOTO) lives with a bird that has a particular hobby that makes laundry a bit of a...chore.
CT9A Kakimoto Kai recently shared a photo of how their pet cockatoo, Gin, helps out with household chores in a peculiar but adorable way. Apparently Gin had been resting in his cage while CT9A Kakimoto Kai was hanging up laundry in their room, but when they opened the cage door to let Gin out, the excited cockatoo soared directly to the laundry to do this:

"Oh, it's been a while since I've seen this."
It appears that Gin has a big fascination with laundry pins, and loves to latch onto them with his beak and hang around with the laundry--almost as if he is mimicking the drying clothes. It certainly makes for a jarring image, particularly if you were to observe it looking through the window from the outside, but it's apparently one of Gin's favorite ways to play around--or perhaps get in a workout!
