We love animals with expressive faces, and it seems of all dog breeds, the Shiba inu is particularly good at emoting.
Whatever emotion their expression conveys, they do it with style, and there’s a special place in dog lovers’ hearts for the iconic Shiba inu side-eye.
There’s lots of pups going for the crown, but many think that the winner of the best disgruntled dog face must be Pan-chan, a Shiba inu that lives in Japan.
While in most photos she looks very content, her owner has posted a selection of her best disgruntled faces on Instagram, showing a different side to this adorable dog.
In one she is wrinkling up her snout in disgust, and it’s pretty clear that she doesn’t like what she sees.
