Cats have a habit of taking to boxes and containers we would never think they could actually fit them, so much so that you have to wonder if they may actually be liquid.
So normally Japanese Twitter user @iketeru_cats, who lives with their two cats and is used to such shapeshifting hijinks, wouldn't bat an eye at one of their kitties comfortably (or uncomfortably) taking up space in an odd container.
However, when passing through their kitchen, @iketeru_cats had to stop and admire the odd spot their cat had crammed itself into, turning into what @iketeru_cats could only describe as a "rice cooker spirit."

With an expression that seems to say "yeah, what are you looking at?" the snug fit in the rice cooker makes it appear as if the playful feline flexing or leaning out of a car to talk to you. The cat, Dacchan, has been nicknamed "the spirit of the rice cooker" because she appears as a Studio Ghibli-esque fairy or sprite that lords over the appliance.
Many on Twitter fell in love with the sight of Dacchan, with some sympathetic cat owners saying their own rice cookers are often commandeered by their kitties. It looks like if @iketeru_cats wants to make some rice, they may need to first pray to the feline spirit for permission!
