One of the awesome things about being in Japan for Pokemon fans is the wealth of Pokemon food collaborations. These are usually limited time only, so depending on the season you can enjoy Pokemon ice cream, Pokemon bubble tea, and even Pokemon Valentine's Day chocolate.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Pokemon also often collaborate with a gummy candy brand called ‘Puré’. This summer, they’re holding their 6th collaboration campaign, and it’s sure to please fans of Pikachu and Piplup.
With their bright yellow and blue colours, they’re the perfect team for summer. The sour gummy candies included in the special Pokemon bags come in two flavours, to suit each creature. The Pikachu one is a pineapple and mango soda flavour, named after his Electric Shock attack. Piplup’s flavour is a muscat and mandarin orange fruit punch taste.
The shape of the candy includes summery motifs like boats and inflatable pool rings, as well as adorable versions of Pikachu and Piplup.
There’s also five packaging designs to choose from featuring Pikachu and Piplup with colourful summer themes.
These soda gummy sweets are currently on sale all over Japan costing 150 yen.
