No matter what elaborate toys, accessories, and cat beds we get for our kitties, they always seem to prefer playing with everyday household items instead. Some they probably should be staying away from.
Japanese Twitter user Maku (@yonasawa) couldn't help but laugh when they found their cat doing exactly just that. Maku's cat seems to have become quite attached to Maku's headband, and was playing with it rather excitedly one afternoon. Unfortunately, the band didn't cooperate it quite the way the cat expected it to.
After a few moments, the hairband ends completely enveloping the cats head, resulting a mini yet adorable moment of panic before the cat finally settles in and accepts the new headgear, with a forlorn look of some hurt pride perhaps. Many chimed in with guilty laughter, saying that it was a common occurrence for their own housecats.
While Maku was able to remove the headband and get the kitty back in good spirits, although he may need a less embarrassing toy going forward.
