While the stress put upon them is no fun, when dogs head to the vet, they can provide some entertaining reactions--particularly when they realize they've been duped into going.
Japanese Twitter user @bankinmatu didn't employ any trickery when they recently took their adorable white shiba, Matsu, to the vet for a shot, but they did get quite the unusual reaction. After a minor health issue, Matsu was taken to the vet to get a checkup and a shot to address it.

After being a good little trooper and safely getting her shot, @bankinmatu thought they noticed some discomfort in Matsu one their walk home as the white shiba began to shake her leg--while @bankinmatu was worried, they were quickly relieved but perplexed when they noticed that Matsu was shaking the opposite leg she got a shot in:
"After the shot yesterday she seemed to be in a bit of pain. But after thinking about it carefully, I remembered she got the shot in her right arm..."
It seems that Matsu was so nervous after leaving the vet she forgot which arm she actually got the shot in, and shaked off the opposite paw like some sort of phantom pain! Obviously her nervousness is no laughing matter, but many on Twitter couldn't help but find the spooked gesture adorable. After another checkup Matsu proved to be in good spirits, but it appears that future shots might leave her not knowing left from right.
