Japanese stationery maker releases edible memo note pads with food ink pen for secret snacks
It feels like just about every month Japanese creative planner and designer Michiru (@mitiruxxx) has people online captivated by their cleverly designed concepts for products. Watermelon seed salt shakers, cat paw water bottles, and green onion incense sticks.
Their latest idea may be one of of their very best, and is currently a big hit with reptile fans on Twitter. The talented designer has thought up a pencil sharpener that's so cool it almost makes too much sense--a transforming frilled lizard that flares up its frill as you sharpen your pencil!

The idea is pretty straightforward--you insert your pencil into the lizard's mouth, and as you grind and sharpen your pencil, it's sheddings turn into the frill of the frilled lizard! The idea has been met with enormous praise online, with some saying they'd sharpen their pencil if they didn't even need to if they had one, and others bringing up the fun possibility of using colored pencils for different colored frills.
Unfortunately, it's simply a concept designed and proposed by Michiru and not a commercial product, but hopefully someone notices the clamoring for it to be released and gets to work.
