Just like everywhere else it's enjoyed, curry in Japan is a big time comfort food. Whether it be served with gigantic katsu, in addictive buns, or the good 'ol fashioned way with white rice, curry just seems to be one of the ultimate "hit the spot" dishes. So typically when you sit down with your curry, you really dig in and make a sloppy mess of your plate.
Japanese Twitter user @sainou_and has at least found one person who takes the opposite approach, however, sharing a photo with the caption "this person is just too good at eating curry" that has a lot of curry lovers online in shock and awe. When @sainou_and was out eating some curry, they noticed the very particular way in which their friend organized and ate their curry...

Japanese curry rice is served with the actual curry and white rice separated slightly on the same plate, and while enjoyed in individual bites, is usually mixed up as the meal goes on. Whether eaten separately or not, curry roux gets left over on the plate. Not for @sainou_and's friend, however. The friend appears to gradually slide their rice towards the curry and leftover roux as they eat, effectively gathering all the flavor in one spot while also cleaning the plate with the sliding rice.
The technique seems a bit particular and unconventional, but made a big splash on Twitter among curry lovers who were both impressed and taken aback by it, with many leaving replies saying they'd rethink their curry-eating styles:
"Washing plates after eating curry is such a pain, I'm going to copy this eating style from now on!"
"I'm impressed by their concern towards the kitchen staff."
"This is almost too neat."
"This way you don't waste any of the roux!"
