Anyone who lives with cats know they can be pretty crafty and cunning when it comes to pulling off household shenanigans such as stealing food. Other times, however, they can be surprisingly clumsy about giving away their scheme.
Namiso (@omochi_nam01), who lives with three cats, definitely knows the humor found in the latter situation. She shared a three picture episode to Twitter that plays out like a comic strip that has many cat lovers nodding their heads.
Namiso writes that her husband came home with a gift of shokupan (fluffy white milk bread), and immediately her three cats took some very visible interest in it.

Namiso wasn't too worried, what with loaf being tightly packaged after all. However, when she turned her attention to another errand for a brief moment, that proved to not be quite the case...

In a matter of seconds, the three kitties seem to have worked together to take off with the tasty bread. Unfortunately, they made such a fuss they were only able to make it to the stairwell before being apprehended. Many on Twitter couldn't help but laugh at the look of the busted kitties, comparing the loaf of bread to a hostage. While some praised their team work, others wonder if it was a cat fight that perhaps lead to their plan being foiled.
