There’s plenty of themed cafes to enjoy in Japan, including a variety of pop-up and limited time only events. Every so often, thanks to a Japanese cafe chain called Oh My Cafe, Disney fans are treated to awesome character-inspired dishes. Previously they have held events based on Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland.
But this time around, the menu is getting a sprinkle of pixie dust to transport Peter Pan enthusiasts straight to Neverland. These limited time only cafes have appeared in three major cities, and the menu includes main dishes, desserts, and drinks, all inspired by the classic animation.
There’s a curry based on the scene where Peter Pan flies past Big Ben on the way to Neverland.
And Tinkerbell stars in her own dish, a spinach sauce pasta.
Tick-Tock! The crocodile has been recreated as a tasty-looking ham and egg sandwich.
There’s also a frozen yogurt featuring Peter Pan and Wendy.
For drinks, there’s a lemon squash inspired by Peter, and a cherry soda based on his nemesis, Captain Hook.
Mr. Smee appears as a cute smoothie inspired by his striped shirt and red hat.
If you’re a Tinkerbell mega fan, you can order her lemonade and even take home an exclusive tumbler if you pay a bit extra.
Of course, there’s plenty of other exclusive merchandise available too, including bags, keychains, cushions, and much more.
The events are ongoing at Oh My Cafe Tokyo (until 12th February 2023), Oh My Cafe Osaka (until 29th January 2023), and Kawara Cafe & Kitchen Nagoya Parco (until 29th January 2023). The full menu and price list is available on the Oh My Cafe website, and there are some closures over the holiday period so be sure to check before going!
