Cats and dogs can be the best of friends, but sometimes there’s too much love going around the room.

This helpful dog was trying to be a pal and groom its cat friend, but was a tad bit too enthusiastic about it.

“Um. I just wanted a quick groom.”

“I know you love me, but…”

“… you’re kinda crushing me.”

“Dude. Seriously.”

“Oh, oh wait.”

“Permission to continue. This actually feels pretty good.”

We’ll never know how this cat was really feeling throughout this pampering session, but clearly it was enjoying it enough not to retaliate and break free from the dog’s chokehold, err, embrace.
