For a lot of us, the perfect wedding requires the perfect means of preserving the unforgettable day. For their wedding, newlyweds Addie and Marshall Burnette decided to pass on that crucial responsibility to their beloved Siberian Husky, Ryder.
“It was cold and magical,” Marshall wrote on YouTube. “Our dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so we let her do her thing.”
The couple decided to have their ceremony on Roan Mountain in Tennessee, where they had their first date 10 years ago. Buried in 2 feet of snow, the mountain proved to be a marvelous backdrop for their big day.
With a GoPro camera strapped onto her body, Ryder ran around freely to capture not only the wedding ceremony but everything before, after and in-between from her unique canine perspective.
And she proved to be a natural cameraman — although the footage took a while to edit, she was able to beautifully capture the intimacy of their family, as well as the enchanting, fairytale-like atmosphere of the snow-covered mountain.
