$50 cardboard bed made by cardboard box company is one of cheapest on Japanese market
Japan is now in the midst of winter. Even if you are tucked inside a duvet in your bedroom, it can still be pretty cold. If you hate winter as much as I do, then you might be in for a treat.

As you can see, it's a tent that you set up over and above your bed. It's called "Room in Room".

The main purpose for this tent is to keep the heat insulated: it shuts out the cold air coming into it, while circulating the warmth within the tent. They say that the temperature between the inside and outside of the tent is around 12 degrees Celsius.

Since it's only about 70 dollars, it might work out to be a lot cheaper than running a heater.

Room in room has various features to make enjoy the time inside the cocoon: for example, there is a net to hook your laptop computer, which prevents people from hurting their back or shoulders. There is also an adjustable strap to allow people to use the computer while sitting down.

As at December 2015, makers of room in room is carrying out a cloud funding. If this tent becomes a reality, I'm sure I'd never want to get out from it...
