The best type of cultural exposure is the kind that sticks to your fingers and comes recommended with a bib.

As this video from Digital Soju TV explains, Korea is not exactly well acquainted with traditional American Barbecue. And really, why would it be? Korea is a BBQ powerhouse in its own right, with Korean BBQ now being a favorite dining experience all over the world. However, in a project to try and broaden knowledge of American BBQ and educate people in Korea about its taste, Digital Soju TV teamed up with Korea-based Manimal, an American BBQ style restaurant, to have Korean girls try American BBQ for the first time and review it.

So the girls sit down and prepare to tackle a different type of grilled meat than they are used to by having the three staples of American BBQ--pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. It's always interesting to see reactions to food you may be more familiar with, so take a moment and watch them marvel at some things, and be confused by others.

First up was pulled pork, which had a pretty surprising aesthetic for the girls.
