If you ever come to Japan, you may find that many products of your own country's brand do not sell in your own country. What is more unfair, almost everything in Japan somehow looks more stylish and unique. Well... NIKE heard that! Fortunately this time, NIKE went the opposite route and started selling their Sakura shoes "only" in America for now.
Since the beautiful Sakura season is near in Japan, NIKE decided to make ink wash painting Sakura Nike shoes. The ink wash painting style comes from Japanese traditional art that uses thick brush and black ink for illustrations since the Nara Period, and subjects were mostly people, animals, trees, mountains, and flowers.
The new NIKE NIKE SB (Skateboarding) series covers up 3 different types of Japanese style Sakura shoes.
