If it's simply not enough to gaze at the cherry blossoms during Japan's fleeting sakura season, you can now wear the elegant pink flowers on your feet throughout the whole year. Hailing from Japanese sportswear company Asics are hand-dyed sneakers that bring the beauty of springtime all the way down to your toes, each pair colored carefully by the hands of expert craftsmen utilizing traditional Japanese dyeing techniques.

These sakura sneakers are offered by the brand Onitsuka Tiger and show off a stunning gradation of pink and blue. The technique that is used to dye them is called Mount Daisen Yuzen dyeing, a way of pigmenting fabrics that originated in Tottori Prefecture.

In addition to the pink and blue sneakers, there are also birch-colored shoes on which sakura patterns are painted with Japanese roketsu dyeing brushes. These beautiful shoes are all part of the Onitsuka Tiger brand's Nippon Made series which features products meticulously made by the hands of Japanese craftsmen.
