A notebook that has the ability to “kill“ dropped in the human realm. The highly intelligent high school student Light Yagami stumbles upon the Deathnote and decides to use it to build a new world where crime does not exist, with people portraying him as a god, known as Kira. With this divine capability, he was exposed to the world’s most intelligent investigator “L”, starting a mission to arrest this absurd serial killer. After a long mind battle, the story ended on a great note where both of them are discounted in the world, but still believe in their own justice for the humankind. However as always, the two greatest minds of humanity dislike to leave the chess table without a clear checkmate, the unfinished work still continues...

The new Deathnote “Light up the NEW world” stars with three new cast members, and the original cast member Toda Erika, who was Light’s companion as Misamisa returns and announced saying that “I will show you what’s more interesting than Kira.”

The movie Death Note Light up the NEW world will be released on October 29th.
