Sometimes a combination comes along that is so insane it just makes sense. Such is the case with this amazing Voltron-esque collectible figure made out of Toy Story characters. With the firepower and nostalgic rush of two childhood favorites (Toy Story and battling robots!), this might just be the coolest mecha toy we've seen, for kids and adults alike.

The Toy Story battle robot is made from assembling classic Toy Story characters, such as Woody, Bullseye, Rex, Hamm, and Slinky Dog. It's called the Chogokin Toy Story Combine Woody Robo Sheriff Star, and is clearly a reference to short Toy Story of Terror, which features a similar sum-of-its-parts mecha called the Transitron. Before you check out the rest of the pics, take a look at this promotional video with English subtitles that explains the Chogokin Toy Story Combine Woody Robo Sheriff Star as a hero to battle invading kaiju.
Announced at the 2016 Tokyo Toy Show, the Chogokin Toy Story Combine Woody Robo Sheriff Star was made after Toy Story director John Lasseter himself told Bandai he wanted them to make a Toy Story themed mecha. Each set comes with the individual toy parts, which can be combined to form the impressive battle robot!

Chogokin Toy Story Combine Woody Robo Sheriff Star is priced at 18,900 yen ($176.57 USD), and will be available for order on November 25th, 2016. The initial run of the figure will come with a special picture book (similar to the story presented in the YouTube video) that introduces the character and story of the awesome figure in true Toy Story fashion. While this mecha has a distinct Woody theme, a Buzz Lightyear motif figure was also teased at the Tokyo Toy Show, with more information becoming available on July 21st, 2016.
