The best musical combinations and mashups seem to have a track record of being more off-the-wall and eccentric, but when it comes to song and dance there needs to be a certain level of harmony and synchronization that brings the two together. That's exactly the case with this mysteriously perfect mashup of a Ukrainian military band dancing to the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening theme song.

Truth be told, this band did not actually dance to A Cruel Angel's Thesis, it just happens to be an impressively well synchronization job between two videos. The original audio, however, does come from a surprising band source--the Japanese Coast Guard

So what was the Ukrainian military band actually marching to? Of all things, the dance that perfectly fit the Evangelion opening was originally set to Bon Jovi.
