For those who work in Tokyo, the search for convenient housing can sometimes lead to neighboring prefectures. Outside of cheaper rent, commuting to Tokyo from the outside can offer a much less hectic train ride at the sacrifice of distance. For those that happen to be commuting from Koya Station in Chiba prefecture, the door to door distance sacrifice is minimized from the get-go. The convenience of being able to almost always be able to catch your train (well, unless you have some really impressive slacking skills) as well as be able to roll right into bed after a train home from work is certainly appealing, but most will probably be concerned about the noise associated with living on a train line that runs from roughly 5:00 in the morning until midnight. We imagine that outside of the people who see the convenience of the station's location, we also imagine the apartments are filled with heavy sleepers.
