It’s true that Hayao Miyazaki can conjure up some awe-inspiring magic with his animations, but American illustrator Matt Vince has taken the liberty of applying Miyazaki’s fantastical touch with one of his newest projects.
In the video Zelda x Ghibli Film Trailer, Vince reimagines The Legend of Zelda as an animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. From shots of Kakariko Village to Link riding through the mountains, this original trailer is proof that the worlds of Ghibli and Zelda go perfectly hand-in-hand.

The incredible concept video was created to go with Vince’s Zelda/Ghibli movie posters he designed for fun. Although we won’t actually be seeing an entire animated movie of Zelda made by him, we honestly wish we could now that we’ve seen this beautiful fictional movie trailer.
