Yoshitaka Amano, a Japanese artist and character designer perhaps most known as the main illustrator for the Final Fantasy franchise, is back in the work room preparing for an entirely new project — this time, provided specially for a foreign audience.
The project is titled Ninja Vampire, an original content created through a collaboration between Lotus and Nagoya TV. The story will revolve around the Ninja Vampire, a real life vampire that is historically said to have appeared in Europe 400 years ago, when feudal lord Date Masamune’s vassal traveled to Spain and Italy. In the series, the vampire will be resurrected back to life in the modern world, battling other vampires and humans with AI and other modern technology.
