If the 2015 Japanese live-action film adaptations of Isayama Hajime's popular manga and anime series Attack on Titan didn't exactly resonate with you, you may have a new film version in the works to at least compare them to. Deadline Hollywood has recently reported that Warner Bros. has ongoing negotiations to acquire film rights for their own adaption in a product headed by Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them producer David Heyman.

Deadline also reports that the live-action endeavor would be another Warner Bros. project following the currently delayed live-action Akira film.
Parts 1 and 2 of the Japanese live-action Attack on Titan films were released in 2015 to a mixed response, and were released in North America by Funimation. The second season of the Attack on Titan anime is set to start airing in April.
