One of Japan's most popular and traditional forms of art, origami has been used around the world in everything from charming DIY lamps to tacos overflowing with Japanese food. Now Japanese design bran Backstreet Factory is giving artists yet another way to enjoy the creative practice with Chiyo-kirigami, laser-cut sheets of traditional Japanese designs that give your origami creations an even more graceful and beautiful look.
Although these artistic sheets are used for origami, chiyo-kirigami makes use of "kirigami", or the Japanese art of cutting paper, offering nine different 3-sheet sets of laser-cut designs that make use of traditional Japanese patterns.
