The vertically endowed food items up for grabs are cotton candy (of course), tornado potato, churros and an ice cream cone. Photogenic food hunters can't deny the convenience of all these snacks being sold at one kiosk and the location is also a bonus. Takeshita Street in Harajuku is a tourist hotspot and famous haunt of fashionable teenage girls, two groups known for searching out Instagram worthy foods.
When it comes to the gigantification of snacks, we can only hope this trend continues until we see all our favourite confections pushing boundaries in the longest form they can be.
