The Land of Instagrammable Desserts
It’s only fitting that the most kawaii place in the world has the most kawaii snacks, which is why the most famous food you will find on Takeshita Street are sweets. Rainbow cotton candy bigger than your head, colourful bubble tea and crepes packed with whipped cream and fruit are all considered everyday fare for the fashionable teenage patrons.

But with so many creperies offering the same type of toppings along the cutest street in Japan, one crepe shop has come up with a creative way to appeal to the Harajuku girls’ insatiable need for desserts.
The Best Crepes in Harajuku?
Com Crepe which is situated slightly off the main Takeshita Street stretch have combined the classic Harajuku dessert with crème brulee to create a luxury crepe like no other. The rolled up crepe contains a sweet custard filling, which is even finished off by caramelising the top, giving a satisfying crunch when you get stuck in.
The custard goes right down to the bottom of the cone, so you know they’re not skimping on the filling. It comes in four different varieties, the classic crepe brulee, crepe brulee vanilla, crepe brulee cream cheese, and crepe brulee chocolate.
A trip to Takeshita Street should always result in an Instagram-worthy shot of a crepe.
