If he wasn't sweet enough already, San-X's ever-popular character, the perennially relaxed and laid-back bear Rilakkuma, is going to be available as a tasty snack to warm up your visit to Japan this spring.

Introducing the Mochi Mochi Rilakkuma-Yaki

Shaped in Rilakkuma's favorite recumbent pose, this bite-sized snack is filled with a custard pudding cream filling and its pancake shell is soft and chewy (which is what mochi mochi means in Japanese).

Available at all Lawson convenience stores from March 12th, 2019 for only 146 JPY each (excluding tax), they're just as affordable as they're adorable. We imagine they'd be wonderful enjoyed slowly with a cup of hojicha tea while lounging on your side and watching Japanese variety shows, or anywhere else you'd like to have one.
